Earlier this week, Apple shared a list of popular apps optimized for M1 Macs that are available in the Mac App Store, such as Pixelmator Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Affinity Designer, Darkroom. Some programs store the config file in the home directory, with a period at the beginning of the filename. These config files sometimes have the file extension.rc and we refer to them as 'dotfiles'.
